1. Introduction

Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. is not an owner of the holiday accommodation offered on the platform, but an online booking portal that provides a platform for owners to offer their properties for rent. Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o.'s services include advertising and handling bookings, based on contractual agreements with the respective accommodation owners.

Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. acts exclusively as an intermediary between you and the owners of the offered accommodations.

Should guests purchase or book additional services or products, these are exclusively the subject of separate agreements between the guests and the respective providers or third parties. These additional services are not part of the terms of use, which only relate to the booking of holiday accommodation.

It is the guests' responsibility to inform themselves fully about the conditions, facilities and location of the desired accommodation before booking.

All conditions mentioned apply equally to all bookings and all persons involved, including the person making the booking, fellow travellers, agencies, guest staff, friends and visitors.

2. Booking

The booking is valid from the moment of booking confirmation. For the booking to be valid, the person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and have paid a deposit of 30% of the rental price.

For bookings made on request, each guest will be sent payment instructions for a bank transfer and all information about the booking and the special conditions of the accommodation unit. The guest must make the payment within 48 hours of receiving the payment order, during which time the requested dates will be blocked in the availability calendar. The guest must send proof of payment to [email protected]. After the guest has submitted the payment confirmation and the payment has been credited to the owner's account (IBAN), the booking is considered confirmed. If the guest does not make the payment within 48 hours of receiving the payment order, the booking is considered unconfirmed or canceled. Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. will therefore release the requested dates for other bookings without giving rise to any obligations towards the guest or liability for damages due to a booking not being carried out.

For instant bookings, the booking is considered confirmed when the guest receives a booking confirmation.

3. Prices and Payments

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in Euros (€) and per selected booking period. The price includes all taxes and the tourist tax. The rental price of the accommodation includes all additional costs (water, electricity, internet, garbage collection, etc.), as well as the costs for final cleaning, bed linen, towels, maintenance of the swimming pool, garden and accommodation unit, as well as the registration of the stay.

Payment is made by bank transfer or credit card in two installments; the first is the 30% deposit to confirm the booking and the second is the remaining 70% up to 30 days before arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the guest must pay the full booking amount (100%) immediately.

The guest undertakes to make payments in accordance with these terms and conditions or the special terms and conditions specified on the website. If payment is not made within the specified payment deadlines, Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. is entitled to terminate the contract and cancel the booking without refunding the amount paid up to that point.

4. Cancellation/Changes

In case of cancellation after booking, the guest will be refunded 100% of the booking amount up to 30 days before arrival, in case of cancellation within 30 days before arrival 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. In case of cancellation less than 14 days before arrival 0% of the booking amount will be refunded. In case of no-show, 100% of the booking amount will be charged.

After the booking is confirmed, the guest can submit a request to change the booking, which is not binding for Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. will inform the guest, depending on the request and possibilities, whether a change to the booking is possible or not. Regardless of the fact that the guest's request for a rebooking could not be met, the cancellation conditions stated above always apply. The guest cannot cancel free of charge if his request is not met.

5. Arrival/Departure - Check-in/Check-out

All arrivals and check-in are after 4 p.m., departures and check-out are by 10 a.m. Earlier arrivals and later departures are only possible with the express consent of Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. If the guest does not adhere to the departure time, Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. is entitled to charge the deposit and an additional night at a special rate.

6. Registration of guests

Before arrival, the guest must complete an online check-in so that he can be registered in the information system for the registration/deregistration of tourists. A guest who refuses to complete an online check-in may be denied access to the holiday accommodation.

7. Accommodation

Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. makes every effort to ensure that the descriptions, photos and location of the accommodation units are as precise and accurate as possible. However, minor deviations are possible. The accommodation units do not have to contain the same content and services. The accommodation units are intended solely for vacation purposes.

8. Deposit / Damages

The guest is required to pay a security deposit before arrival. The amount of the deposit is determined at the time of booking. The deposit amount serves as security for the owner against any damage to the accommodation.

9. House rules / behavior of guests

During their stay in the holiday property, the guest must adhere to the house rules posted in the respective property.

10. Complaints and Defects

If the guest notices inadequate cleaning, maintenance and the like, he must immediately complain to the owner/host of the holiday property.

11. Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. as agent

Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. is an online booking portal that provides mediation services in concluding rental agreements for accommodation units with their owners.

12. Personal data and documents

Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. will treat all information and documents as a trade secret in accordance with Croatian regulations on personal data protection.

13. Force majeure and/or extraordinary events

If the use of the accommodation is prevented by force majeure (fire, flood, earthquake, war, pandemic, etc.), Urlaub auf Krk d.o.o. and the owner are entitled to terminate the contract and refund the amount already paid.

14. Filing complaints about our services

We inform consumers that they can submit a complaint about the quality of our services in writing. The complaint can be sent by post to the following address:

The response to the consumer's complaint will be given in writing within 15 days of receipt of the complaint.
